What are the risks associated with tattoos?

November 12, 2013 By

The biggest risk associated with getting body art is selecting an artist who is not well trained and does not know what he or she is doing. Although this is rare, it does happen. So be sure to choose someone who has a track record of creating great body art. Another risk is dirty needles and tattooing equipment, which can lead to complications such as skin irritation and infection but this can be easily prevented by selecting a well-established San Diego tattoo parlor. At Remington we use clean equipment and have never had any of our clients experience problems after getting tattooed here.

However, as a precaution, your Remington tattoo artist will explain all of the risks to you during your consultation, so you can make an informed decision on whether to go forward with getting ink done.
