About Chris Cockrill — San Diego Tattoo Artist
Chris Cockrill has been tattooing for over 25 years and has called Remington Tattoo home since 2015. He got his start in 1998 at Fine Line Tattoo in Houston, Texas, and moved to San Diego in 2003.
His foundation is American traditional and Japanese tattooing, bold, clean linework and classic motifs built to hold up for a lifetime. Over the years he has developed a strong hand in black and grey and fine line work too, so whether you are after a full sleeve or something more understated, he has done it.
Before Remington, Chris spent years at Avalon Tattoo 2 in North Park and has tattooed across the US, Australia, and Asia. That range shows in his portfolio. He is versatile but never loses sight of what makes a tattoo last.
