Custom Tattoo Japanese Koi Fish Tattoo by Terry Ribera

I just returned home from Portland Oregon this week. I was originally supposed to be in Panama, long story short we where not admitted into the country and had to return home to the US. I was intending on teaching a Seminar on Large Scale Custom Tattoo Composition. However this opportunity did not Happen and the Panama City Ink Fest. So after spending a night sleeping in an airport and being sent back home Jasmine Worth and I decided to try to make The Best out of our trip. We spent a week in Portland Oregon and a couple days in Seattle Washington. Seattle is a really fun city, I’d like to see more of it. However I fell in Love with Portland. It is a huge contrast from San Diego, with Huge Water Falls, Hiking Trails, and Beautiful scenery in large old Neighborhoods stuffed with Victorian Houses. It was a very Visually stimulating place that I found to be very inspiring. It had a very different culture from San Diego’s conservative environment. I found this to be very refreshing to say the least. With that said I decided it would be fun to try to find a good place to Tattoo for a Month Next Year. I looked no further than Art Work Rebels. It is a nice Private Custom Tattoo Shop on the South West Side of Portland. There was a lot of things about Portland that Reminded me of the North Park and South Park areas of San Diego. Great food Trucks, Beer, Murals and Restaurants. I’ll posting the exact dates soon, but I’ll be planning at the very least 15 Days of Tattooing During the Month that I am There. I’ll be doing my usual Custom Tattoos, focusing on my Best Tattoo Styles, including Illustrated, Art Nouveau, Japanese, and Biomechanical Tattoo themes.
